Spring Quote
Spring makes its own statement, so loud and clear that the gardener seems to be only one of the instruments, not the composer. ~Geoffrey B. Charlesworth

WASL (Washington Assesment of Student Lameness)
So all this week I have been doing the WASL (Washington Assesment of Student Learning, yes learning not lameness) even though you are required to take the WASL a a 10th grader, and im only a 9th grader. But my parents have told me that if I take it now and pass I won't have to take it next year. It's not that tough but it does suck. Monday was Reading I, Tuesday was Reading II, Wednesday was Writing I, and today was Writing II. I think I passed on Reading because I love Reading and I'm a little book worm, but the writing prompts werent my favorite. On Wednesday the writing prompt was on " A person you would like to see again" I though it was okay since I could just Write about my best friend Brydgette (yes I wrote about you). But todays was the worst.First I was an hour late and you only get 3 hours so I already was down to 2 hours. I sat at my table trying to think about what I could write about that pertained to my topic which was "Why students should have weekend jobs." I though of nothing and just let the minutes tic by. Then I wrote on how they should because blah blah blah. I really dont think I passed this one but I am sure I passed on the first. Well we will see in a year. Yippee

Braces
Braces, were do I start...friday at about 8:40 I went in to the orthodontists to get my very own set of grills, just kidding. I got braces everyone. There annoying, and they hurt the first 4 days. But if they do what they say they do, I want them. I have always wanted straight teeth and nows my chance. I sorta use to them by now but then again I m not. Their weird but, worth it. I'll be glad when I get them off in a year and a half.

My favorite Quote
"God's forgivness is often nullified because the sinner does not forgive himself. What good does it do for god to blot our evil from his mind, if we continue to let it dominate our thinking by rerunning it in our own?" (Sterling W. Sill, What Doth It Profit, p.179 )
I Am Poem
I Am
I am a seacher of knowledge and a dreamer
I wonder why cancer has claimed so many lifes
I hear anemones swaying in the currents of the sea
I see the wind lift the eagle to its highest flight
I want to jump from the highest moutain and land with my feet firmly planted on the ground
I am a searcher of knowledge and a dreamer
I pretend to fly through the stars
I feel the pain of the poor and the helpless
I touch the hand of a poor homeless child
I worry if I am not the girl my parents want me to be
I cry when I hear about the innocent being slaughtered
I am a searcher of knowledge and a dreamer
I understand gods love for everyone
I say the poor will be the rich in heaven
I dream about a world where eveyone can live in peace
I try to get good grades
I hope
I am a searcher of knowledge and a dreamer
