Spring Quote

Spring makes its own statement, so loud and clear that the gardener seems to be only one of the instruments, not the composer. ~Geoffrey B. Charlesworth

WASL (Washington Assesment of Student Lameness)

So all this week I have been doing the WASL (Washington Assesment of Student Learning, yes learning not lameness) even though you are required to take the WASL a a 10th grader, and im only a 9th grader. But my parents have told me that if I take it now and pass I won't have to take it next year. It's not that tough but it does suck. Monday was Reading I, Tuesday was Reading II, Wednesday was Writing I, and today was Writing II. I think I passed on Reading because I love Reading and I'm a little book worm, but the writing prompts werent my favorite. On Wednesday the writing prompt was on " A person you would like to see again" I though it was okay since I could just Write about my best friend Brydgette (yes I wrote about you). But todays was the worst.First I was an hour late and you only get 3 hours so I already was down to 2 hours. I sat at my table trying to think about what I could write about that pertained to my topic which was "Why students should have weekend jobs." I though of nothing and just let the minutes tic by. Then I wrote on how they should because blah blah blah. I really dont think I passed this one but I am sure I passed on the first. Well we will see in a year. Yippee
